Compare Kartra, ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Kajabi and WebNewBiz on funnels, email, checkout, CRM and what each one costs as your list grows.
Systeme.io is popular for good reason. It has a real free plan, paid plans from $17 a month, unlimited email sends and no transaction fees of its own. People usually start looking for alternatives when their business outgrows one part of it, such as the design, the store or the courses. This guide sorts the options by what you actually use Systeme.io for (funnels and email, selling products, or courses). It compares Kartra, ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Kajabi and WebNewBiz on price and features at the time of writing (October 2026), and it is honest about when staying where you are is the smart choice.

Before you switch, be clear about what you would give up. At the time of writing (October 2026), Systeme.io's pricing page lists four plans:
Every plan includes unlimited email sends. Systeme.io takes 0% of your sales, though Stripe or PayPal still charge their normal processing fees. Paying yearly gives you two months free. You also get a simple pipeline board for deals, a tool for running an affiliate programme, and basic selling of physical products with stock tracking and shipping rules.
That is a lot for the money. Nothing in this guide beats it on price for a solo business with a list under 10,000 people. So the useful question is not 'what is better than Systeme.io?' but 'what is Systeme.io not doing for me?'
These are the reasons that come up most, both in reviews and in Systeme.io's own documentation:
Find your reason in the list, then go to the matching section below. If none of these is a problem yet, staying on Systeme.io is a perfectly sensible choice.
Prices are in US dollars on monthly billing at the time of writing (October 2026), unless noted. Most are cheaper if you pay yearly.
| Platform | Best for | Entry price | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Systeme.io | Solo sellers on a budget: funnels, email and simple courses | Free; paid from $17 | Limited design control; not built for big catalogues |
| ClickFunnels | Marketing that relies heavily on funnels | $97 (Launch; $81 billed yearly) | 50,000 emails a month on Launch; $197 once you pass 10,000 contacts |
| Kartra | Funnels, email, memberships and a help desk in one place | $59 (Essentials; 500 contacts, 5% fee per sale) | In practice you start on Starter at $119 |
| GoHighLevel | Fast follow-up by text, phone and pipeline | $97 (Starter) | Texts, calls and emails are billed on usage; built for agencies |
| HubSpot | Teams that work in a CRM all day | Free CRM; Starter $20 per seat | Cost grows with seats, marketing contacts and Professional plans |
| Kajabi | Course and membership businesses | $179 (Basic; $143 billed yearly) | Highest entry price in this list |
| Shopify | Large product catalogues | $29 (Basic, billed yearly) | Funnel and CRM features mostly come from apps |
| WebNewBiz | A full website with a store, AI CRM and funnels | $1 for the first month, then from $9; store from $29; CRM and funnels from $79 | No free plan; young platform; not built for courses |
This is the most common reason people choose Systeme.io. The three closest alternatives are ClickFunnels, Kartra and GoHighLevel.
ClickFunnels is the tool Systeme.io is most often compared with. The Launch plan costs $97 a month ($81 billed yearly) and includes 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month, 3 courses, 5 custom domains and 2 team members. Scale costs $197 a month for 75,000 contacts and 300,000 emails. ClickFunnels has a built-in pipeline for tracking deals and store funnels for physical products, and reviews comparing the two rate its funnel builder as the more capable one. Watch the email limit: emailing a 10,000-person list five times a month uses the whole 50,000. Our guide to ClickFunnels alternatives covers it in more depth.
Kartra puts funnels, email, checkouts, memberships, calendars and video hosting in one login, and adds a help desk on higher plans. Be careful with the entry plan. Essentials costs $59 a month ($52 yearly) but allows only 500 contacts, 5 pages and 1 product, and takes 5% of every sale. In practice you start on Starter, at $119 a month ($99 yearly), with 2,500 contacts and no transaction fee. Growth costs $229 a month, raises the limit to 12,500 contacts and adds affiliates and the help desk. Kartra and ClickFunnels both offer a 14-day free trial.
GoHighLevel does the most of the three. The Starter plan costs $97 a month for unlimited contacts and users, and covers pipelines, websites and funnels, email and SMS, calls, booking calendars, workflows, invoicing and courses. The catch is that texts, calls, emails sent and AI features are billed on usage on top of the plan. It is also built for agencies (Starter includes 3 client accounts), so there is a lot to set up. It is the better choice when quick follow-up by text and phone matters more than anything else. We compare the two directly in Systeme.io vs GoHighLevel.
Systeme.io handles a few products well. You add a product with its variants to a funnel step or a page, and Systeme.io tracks stock and calculates shipping by weight, price or location. You have probably outgrown it if you sell more than a handful of products, your customers want to browse categories and fill a basket, or you would rather import a supplier's product list than type it in again.
Shopify is the better choice for a serious catalogue. Basic costs $29 a month, Grow $79 and Advanced $299 (all billed yearly), and its app store is huge. Funnel and CRM features mostly come from apps, so budget for those.
WebNewBiz includes an online store from the Starter plan at $29 a month. You get a cart, secure checkout, and payments by card through Stripe, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the store runs on WooCommerce, Shopify or WebNewBiz's own engine. The store sits inside a full website rather than a funnel, and on Growth and above, buyers become CRM contacts automatically. The honest trade-off is that its app ecosystem is much smaller than Shopify's.
If most of your income comes from courses, memberships or a paid community, choose a platform built for courses first. The other tools in this guide are built around websites, stores, funnels or CRMs, and courses are at best a side feature.
Kajabi is the best-known option. Basic costs $179 a month ($143 yearly) for 5 products and 2,500 contacts. Growth costs $249 ($199 yearly) for 50 products and 25,000 contacts, and Pro costs $499 ($399 yearly). If you use Kajabi's own payments, you pay a normal card processing rate (2.9% plus 30 cents in the US on Basic). If you use another provider other than PayPal, Kajabi adds 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro. Every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Thinkific and Teachable are other course platforms worth comparing.
Be realistic about cost. A course creator with 3,000 contacts pays $17 a month on Systeme.io's Startup plan, but would need Kajabi's Growth plan at $249. If Systeme.io's course area does the job, that saving is real. Move when the student experience is holding back sales, not before.
WebNewBiz is not built for hosting courses or memberships, so it is the wrong tool for this job.
When two or more people share the follow-up, the CRM matters more than the funnel builder.
HubSpot has a free CRM. Its Starter Customer Platform lists at $20 per seat per month, and at the time of writing HubSpot was offering new customers a time-limited discount. Starter includes marketing email sent from your own domain, a website and landing page builder, forms, HubSpot Payments, and more automation than the free tools. HubSpot is strong on contact records, deals and reporting. The catch is the cost of growing: you pay for each seat, the bill rises with your number of marketing contacts, and the Professional plans cost considerably more and require an onboarding fee. HubSpot is built around landing pages, forms and email sequences rather than step-by-step funnels, and it is not a course platform. If paying per seat worries you, see our list of HubSpot CRM alternatives.
GoHighLevel, covered above, is the other strong CRM choice, especially if texting is central to how you sell.
WebNewBiz starts from the website rather than the funnel. You describe your business in plain language, the AI drafts a complete site (pages, layout and copy), and you change it by chatting with the AI Copilot. You then add the parts Systeme.io users usually care about:
Workflow automations run on triggers such as a form submission, a scheduled date or a birthday, so you don't need a separate marketing automation tool for everyday follow-up.
The honest weaknesses for this comparison:
It suits service businesses and shops that need a real website first, with a store, CRM and funnels attached. There is no minimum contract. If you cancel, your account stays read-only so you can export your content.
The entry price tells you little. What matters is the bill when your list grows. This is the plan you would need for funnels plus email marketing at each list size (monthly billing, October 2026):
| Platform | About 2,500 contacts | About 10,000 contacts | Larger lists |
|---|---|---|---|
| Systeme.io | $17 (Startup) | $47 (Webinar) | $97 (Unlimited, no limit) |
| ClickFunnels | $97 (Launch) | $97 (Launch) | $197 (Scale, up to 75,000) |
| GoHighLevel | $97 plus usage | $97 plus usage | $97 plus usage (no contact limit) |
| Kartra | $119 (Starter) | $229 (Growth) | $549 (Professional, up to 25,000) |
| Kajabi | $179 (Basic) | $249 (Growth) | $499 (Pro, up to 100,000) |
| WebNewBiz | $149 (Pro) | $149 (Pro) | $199 (Ultimate, unlimited contacts) |
On WebNewBiz, funnels and the CRM without email campaigns start at $79 (Growth, up to 3,000 contacts). HubSpot is left out of the table because its price depends on seats and marketing contacts, so no single figure would be fair.
Systeme.io is the cheapest at every list size. ClickFunnels and GoHighLevel stay at the same price the longest, though GoHighLevel's usage fees grow as you send more. Kartra and Kajabi get expensive fastest. The fairer test is to add up everything you pay for today. If you also pay for a separate website, store, booking tool or CRM, a more expensive all-in-one platform can still cost less overall. If Systeme.io is your only tool, it is hard to beat.
What is the best Systeme.io alternative for a small business?
It depends on what you use Systeme.io for. For funnels and email, look at ClickFunnels or Kartra. For text and phone follow-up, GoHighLevel. For a large product range, Shopify. For courses, a course platform such as Kajabi. For a full website with a store, CRM and funnels together, WebNewBiz.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Systeme.io?
Not for funnels and email. At the time of writing (October 2026) Systeme.io has a free plan and paid plans from $17 a month with unlimited email sends, and none of the alternatives here match that. They cost more because they add things such as a fuller website, texting, a deeper CRM or a more polished course platform.
Does Systeme.io charge transaction fees?
No. Systeme.io takes 0% of sales on every plan, though Stripe or PayPal still charge their normal processing fees. By comparison, Kartra's Essentials plan takes 5% per sale, and Kajabi adds 0.5% to 2% if you use a payment provider other than its own or PayPal.
Should I leave Systeme.io if I sell online courses?
Only if you have outgrown its course area, which is good value. If courses are your main business and you want a more polished student experience, compare course-first platforms such as Kajabi, Thinkific or Teachable rather than a general website builder or CRM.
Can WebNewBiz replace Systeme.io?
For a website, store, CRM and funnels, yes. The AI funnel builder and AI CRM start on Growth at $79 a month, and email campaigns on Pro at $149. It is not built for courses, has no free plan (the first month costs $1) and costs more than Systeme.io if you only need funnels and email.
You don't need to switch everything at once. If a proper website is what you are missing, try the free AI Website Preview: describe your business in one sentence and it designs a homepage for free. If you like the result, the full AI website builder costs $1 for the first month on any plan, with no minimum contract. Rebuild one funnel and one page, compare them with what you have on Systeme.io, and decide from there. Start for $1.
